El Rastro in Madrid

El Rastro happens every Sunday just west of the La Latina barrio in Madrid.  Every space of street and sidewalk for about 10 city blocks in a bunch of directions is taken over by Madridlienos selling any and everything.  Any Madridlienos who isn’t selling something is strolling through and doing their weekly shopping.  My favorite were the Rubber Band Man (the photo with the colorful rubber band stand) and Tape Guy (the photo with the old man selling every kind of tape you can think of).  We already had our duct tape with us, so we didn’t send any business his way…
