Mr. Romney would pay 0.82% in taxes under Mr. Ryan’s Plan.
Great article in The Atlantic about Mr. Ryan, the new Republican VP nominee, and his tax plan for America.  I will say that it is refreshing to have a Republican who is truly a fiscal conservative.  What we have had to date is Republicans who spend our tax money like drunken sailors, well if they had ever served in the military that is.  Republicans have created the largest deficits in our country’s history, from Mr. Reagan to Mr. Bush (with Mr. Clinton balancing the budget in between them).  At least Mr. Ryan says up front that he will slash the military and medicare.
My question would 0.82% be a tax decrease or increase?  We’ll never know unless Mr. Romney decides to be open and transparent with the American public about his income and taxes for the past 10 years and release his returns.
