All those years I had heard the jokes about Amy Winehouse, but never heard her sing….until Alison turned me on to her after she died…Sweet Jesus, what a voice and sensibility! So sad that she’s done, but even sadder that the only thing the popular media could bring themselves to write was scandalous crap, while ignoring all the awesomeness!
